    Are you an experienced commercial banking credit professional ready to make a meaningful impact? Our client, a growing commercial bank in the Twin Cities hiring a Credit Officer/Approver to underwrite, make decisions, and monitor lending opportunities while ensuring strong credit portfolio performance. This exciting role operates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and offers the opportunity to collaborate with internal teams to balance risk and growth.

    Responsibilities:

    Credit Review and Loan Decisioning:

    • Analyze and decision new credit requests and renewals, ensuring compliance with standards.

    • Independently assess asset quality ratings and align loan structures with business needs.

    Portfolio Monitoring:

    • Work with Relationship Managers to maintain strong asset quality and address risks.

    • Monitor delinquencies, financial statements, covenant defaults, and other financial data.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field or equivalent experience.

    • 7–10+ years of credit experience at a regional or global bank.

    • Expertise in analyzing financials, loan structures, and credit risks independently.

    • Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
