Summary of Position
The role of the Data Analyst focuses on generating reports, extracting and manipulating data from various datasets via our BI platform (Domo), and presenting findings to both internal and external stakeholders. This position involves generating reports, validating data quality, and presenting findings to stakeholders in a clear and impactful way. By analyzing trends and identifying opportunities, the Data Analyst directly supports operational efficiency, partner relationships, and strategic initiatives within the business.
Position Functions
The role will have the following primary responsibilities:
+ Managing and producing detailed reports for internal and external users on a continuous or one-time basis.
+ Performing statistical and soft analyses on various datasets.
+ Maintaining and troubleshooting reporting tools as well as enforcing data integrity rules and employing data validation testing.
+ Aiding in the construction and maintenance of internal data assets on our BI platform.
+ Assisting with other ad hoc, data-related requests.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to contextually switch between technical and plain language, share knowledge, and work effectively in a team environment.
+ Excellent comprehension skills to efficiently develop a connected understanding of business processes and goals.
+ Comfort in crafting presentations and holding Q&A-style meetings is a must.
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree required.
+ 2+ years of prior professional experience in a similar role.
+ Hands-on experience with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Domo.
+ Demonstrated understanding of scripting languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
+ Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products.
+ Prior Insurance experience a plus.
+ Familiarity with Jira or other Atlassian products a plus.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit and work quietly for extended periods of time, operate a computer, lift heavy file boxes, and answer and communicate on a telephone.

Business-casual, fast-paced, multi-tasking office environment
Hours of Operation:
This position supports our marketing efforts internationally. This position's work hours are Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm, in a hybrid work environment. Our hybrid environment is 3 days within our business-casual office environment. Of these 3 days in the office, Wednesday and Thursday are required, and employees may work from home the other 2 days. Our employees choose their schedule. This position requires occasional flexibility for working additional hours to accomplish project objectives.
