    The department of Pediatrics at Stanford University is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator Associate (CRC2) to conduct clinical research and work on complex projects/assignments.This interesting anduniqueopportunity will oversee the clinical research functions of a multi-site pediatric oncology consortium. Pediatric Oncology Experimental Therapeutics Consortium Research Development and Management Center (POETIC RDMC) is a phase I clinical trial consortium whose mission is "To promote early clinical development of promising therapies for children, adolescents,and young adults with cancer and related disorders". This position will oversee significant and key aspects of the consortium large research studies and work under close direction of the principalinvestigatorand/or study supervisor.

    Duties** **include:

    • Serve as primary contact with research participants, sponsors,and regulatory agencies. Coordinate studies from startup throughclose-out.

    • Determine eligibility of and gather consent from study participants according to protocol. Assist in developing recruitmentstrategies.

    • Collect and manage patient and laboratory data for clinical research projects. Manage research project databases, develop flow sheets and other study related documents, and complete study documents/case reportforms.

    • Ensurecompliancewithresearchprotocols,andreviewandauditcasereportformsforcompletionandaccuracywith source documents. Prepare regulatory submissions, and ensure institutional Review Board renewals arecompleted.

    • Assemblestudykitsforstudyvisits,monitorscheduling ofproceduresandcharges,coordinatedocuments,andattend monitoring meetings with sponsors,acting as primarycontact.

    • Monitor expenditures and adherence to study budgets and resolve billing issues in collaboration with financeand/ormanagementstaff.

    • Interact with the principal investigator regularly, ensuring patient safety and adherence to proper studyconduct.

    • Participate in monitor visits and regulatoryaudits.

    Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the University reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs. The pay range for this position working in the California Bay area is $84,856.00 to 97,021.00 annually

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in related medicalfield.

    • Experience working with oncology clinical researchstudies.

    • 1-2 years of experience in a clinical research setting is highly desirable.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):

    Two-year college degree and two years related work experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of related education and relevant experience.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):

    • Strong interpersonalskills.

    • Proficiency with MicrosoftOffice.

    • Knowledge of medicalterminology.

    CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:

    Society of Clinical Research Associates or Association of Clinical Research Professionals certification is preferred.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

    • Frequently stand,walk, twist, bend, stoop, squat and use fine light/fine grasping.

    • Occasionally sit,reach above shoulders, perform desk based computertasks,use a telephone and write by hand, lift, carry, push, and pull objects that weigh up to 40pounds.

    • Rarelykneel,crawl,climbladders,graspforcefully,sortandfilepaperworkorparts,rarelylift,carry,push,andpull objects that weigh 40 pounds ormore.
