    Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center (Anniston, AL)


    Responsible for the processing, distribution and storage of soiled linen, garments and other items. Sorts clean linen to be washed. Loads and unloads washers. Inspects linen for damage. Performs a variety of routine Laundry duties, such as recording, inventorying, and distributing linen.

     

    Prefer six months of Laundry Assistant experience.

     

    Must have a HS Diploma or GED.

     

    Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions.

     

    Ability to continuously lift heavy linen loads; frequent pushing and pulling of carts; stand and walk the majority of the shift.
