    Job Description Summary

    Operates material handling equipment to unload and load trailers, inspect for damage, and verify counts on both inbound and outbound loads. Safely operates forklift equipment and moves trailers in the lot and around the building with the Shaq Truck.

     

    Warehousers will enter the job as a grade six (6) and can advance to pay grade (7) if they obtain and possess a current CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Obtaining the CDL is optional and is not a requirement to stay in the position. Warehousers who elect not to pursue a CDL will remain a grade level six (6).

    Green Nights- 7:00pm-7:00am

    Responsibilities

    + Receiving incoming goods and verifying their quantity and quality

    + Storing items in designated areas and ensuring they are properly labeled

    + Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently

    + Shipping products to customers using appropriate transportation methods

    + Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and stock movements

    + Working safely and adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations

    + Collaborating effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow

    + Other duties as assigned

    + Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    + Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions

    + Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 20 kg)

    + Flexibility to work overtime during busy periods

    + Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations

    + Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite)

    Minimum Requirement:

    + High School Diploma or GED
