Position Summary
The HRIS Administrator is responsible for configuring, supporting, and maintaining the Human Resources Information System ( HRIS ), ensuring data accuracy, system efficiency, and compliance. This role supports system-related activities across multiple HR functions and affiliated solutions, which may include input into design, configurations, and workflows, provides end-user support, performs regular audits, and partners with stakeholders to improve HR processes through automation and data reporting. The position also includes specialist-level responsibilities, such as report development and data analysis, as well as coordinator-level tasks, including data entry and workflow tracking.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
A minimum of three (3) years of HR or HR Systems-related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Proficiency with HR systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, UKG /Kronos, PeopleSoft, or similar applications.
Strong Excel and reporting skills, including VLOOKUP , pivot tables, and basic formulas.
High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience in HRIS , HR operations, or data analytics.
Familiarity with reporting tools like Cognos, Tableau, or Power BI.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM -CP, PHR ) or HRIS -specific training/certifications.
Prior experience in healthcare, higher education, or a similarly complex environment.
Experience with Workday (Core HCM , Talent, Compensation, etc.)
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow HRSD or similar workflow platforms
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., PeopleAdmin, iCIMS).
Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, and data governance.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement skills.

Job Duties
Description of Job Duty
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration & Configuration:
• Maintain, update, and configure HRIS modules (e.g., core HR, benefits, compensation, performance, recruitment).
• Act as a liaison between HR and IT/vendor support for troubleshooting, upgrades, and new implementations.
• Manage system security and access controls.
Data Management & Integrity:
• Ensure accuracy of employee records by auditing and validating data entry across HR systems.
• Serve as the point of contact for data corrections, uploads, and integrations with third-party systems.
• Conduct regular audits and resolve discrepancies.
Reporting & Analytics:
• Design and generate standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards for HR and leadership teams.
• Analyze HR metrics and provide data insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Support compliance reporting ( EEO , ACA , AAP , etc.).
User Support & Training:
• Serve as primary HRIS helpdesk support for end users; resolve tickets and escalate as necessary.
• Provide training and job aids to HR and other departments on system use and updates.
• Participate in cross-functional projects related to systems and process improvements.
Process Coordination & Support:
• Facilitate design/redesign of workflows, monitor and track affiliated personnel actions and transactions, including hires, terminations, changes, and support requests
• Coordinate with HR staff to ensure timely processing and documentation
• Work closely with business area leaders to develop FAQ’s, Knowledge Articles, and the HR Knowledge Base; collaborate on development of affiliated feedback and reporting in support of continuous improvement
• Support business cycle activities as needed, e.g., open enrollment, performance review cycles, and other cyclical HR activities.

Immunization Requirements
It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are encouraged to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID -19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
