    Job Description:

    UNIT DESCRIPTION:

    **The Critical Care Center** is a 13-bed critical care unit with 24 hour intensivist coverage that serves adult and geriatric patients with medical and/or surgical issues.

     

    _Preference will be given, by seniority, to those qualified nurses who were serially displaced within the 18 months following his/her displacement according to_ _MNA_ _contract section 9.4 (f)(1)._

     

    **Minimum Requirements** :

    + Current Mass RN license

    + Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification required.

    + At least 6months-1 year recent (within the last 12months) critical care experience required; ability to demonstrate competency in core critical care skills: ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management, post STEMI care; evidence of relevant continuing education

    **Recommended Requirements** :

    + BSN & CCRN Preferred.

    + Documented professional development activities.
