    Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician, where you will be responsible for maintaining industrial facilities that support manufacturing processes. Your role will involve working with systems such as chillers, boilers, AHUs, water distillation systems, and ROs, as well as handling HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems within the building.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform electrical repairs, machining, and welding tasks, as well as work with high-pressure gases.

    + Handle electrical installation and construction, AC/DC motor drives, gearboxes, and hydraulics & pneumatics systems.

    + Train in Maintenance Systems (SAP), lubricants, and new technologies in predictive maintenance.

    + Actively participate in continuous improvement programs focused on plant efficiency.

    + Comply with all safety and environmental policies, procedures, and programs.

    + Perform tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

    Essential Skills

    + Confirmed understanding of electrical installation and construction.

    + Knowledge of AC/DC motor drives, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.

    + Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably from a pharmaceutical facility.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Tech school degree preferred.

    + 1+ years of experience in a related field.

    + Willingness to work on various tasks, not limited to HVAC or electrical installations.

    Work Environment

     

    The position follows a 2nd shift schedule from 2pm to 10:30pm, which includes working 10 days on, followed by 4 days off, then 5 days on with 2 days off, repeating every third weekend. This schedule is non-negotiable for at least one year. The role involves working in a cleanroom/GMP environment with potential exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, toxic chemicals, and high noise areas.

    This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
