Ravenwood Specialty Care, part of Care Initiatives, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a temporary ADON position, covering a leave of absence. This role offers the chance to lead a team, gain leadership experience, and make a meaningful impact on resident care. There may also be opportunities to transition into a permanent leadership or clinical role within Care Initiatives once the temporary assignment concludes.

What You’ll Do:

+ Assist in planning, organizing, and managing the nursing department during the temporary assignment

+ Monitor care quality, resident outcomes, and staff performance

+ Mentor and support nursing staff, promoting team growth and development

+ Participate in on-call leadership rotations (if applicable)

+ Manage administrative functions to support department efficiency

Qualifications:

+ Current Iowa RN license (or ability to activate quickly)

+ CPR certification

+ Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations preferred

+ Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills

+ Desire to grow professionally and make an impact in resident-centered care
