The BPS Teacher Pipeline/MTEL Program is seeking exceptional educators to teach, tutor, coach and advise educators hired on waivers who need support passing the MTEL exams required for the Moderate Disabilities PK-8 Provisional license. Our goal is to increase the number of licensed teachers across the district, particularly in the areas of Moderate Disabilities (PK-8) and Elementary (1-6). Because all BPS educators must pass MTEL exams to maintain their licensure, we have developed a multi-tiered approach to assisting educators with this requirement. One tier is MTEL preparation courses.
