Your New Role
Plumber II
Your Role Accountabilities
+ Perform preventive maintenance on all plumbing-related equipment and systems as required.
+ Makes repairs to all plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.
+ Keeps inventory, orders, and picks up approved plumbing parts and materials as needed.
+ Assists other trades and with non-plumbing related tasks
+ Admin- enter time, review and close out work orders.
Qualifications & Experience
+ Minimum 5 years practical construction and maintenance in the plumbing field. Must possess a working knowledge of plumbing components, systems, test equipment, fixtures, and proper procedures related to installation, start up, maintenance, and repair of related equipment.
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Journeyman’s Plumbing License Preferred
+ Installation, repair and maintenance of all plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment. Soldering, press tool, and mechanical fittings to connect and repair different plumbing system piping, including copper, and cast iron. Reads and understands plumbing drawings. Up to date with all current plumbing codes and amendments.
+ Must hold a current Georgia drivers license.
+ Stays informed of the O&M requirements associated with new and existing equipment.
+ Completes continuing education requirements as needed.
+ Must be a self-starter and motivated. Must complete assigned tasks and duties with minimal supervision.
+ Must provide updates on the progress and status of jobs to the lead or supervisor.
+ With minimum assistance, should be able to determine the reasons for component, systems or structure malfunctions, and decide upon corrective actions and functions to ensure proper and timely repairs.
+ Must be an effective team player and keep in mind the immediate and long-term goals of the department. Must be willing to perform under changing conditions to provide quality customer service. Assists other trades and performs non-plumbing related tasks as needed.
