    **Salary Range** : $96,100 - $144,100 Annual

    Job Details

    The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills, and location. This position is bonus eligible.

     

    The Strategic Planning Manager is a key part of a subfunction (e.g. Direct to Consumer or “D2C”) and will be responsible for planning, management, and development and execution of key initiatives - including new products, technologies, partnerships, and omnichannel activities.

    As a Strategic Planning Manager your responsibilities will include:

    + Manage, evaluate, and execute key business objectives for Colonial Penn and Washington National, including sales partner expansion, the adoption of new technologies, and business development initiatives

    + Lead a team of Sales Operations Coordinators, overseeing and optimizing their day-to-day business and ownership for the delivery of partner communication, onboarding, licensing, sales platform administration, tech support, and sales data integrity

    + Serve as a project manager for key sales projects, initiatives, and go to market opportunities across the Colonial Penn, Washington National, and Bankers Life brands

    + Work closely with Customer Engagement, Training, and Quality Assurance teams to design and implement impactful sales support programs

    + Act as a key stakeholder for sales platform enhancements by contributing to business requirements, user acceptance testing, and production validation

    + Collaborate with Licensing, IT, Marketing, and Legal to ensure seamless execution of business deliverables

    + Support the management of Inbound call center activities and lead distribution

    + Establish scalable and measurable processes to support the long-term success of new programs

    + Drive business process optimization to enhance sales growth and efficiency for internal and external sales teams

    + Perform comprehensive sales data integrity checks, identify potential issues or anomalies, conduct root cause analysis, develop and implement effective solutions to address and prevent recurrence of sales process errors

    + Utilize Microsoft 365 tools to design workflows, automate tasks, and enhance collaboration for critical initiatives.

    The** **Strategic Planning Manager position is well suited for you:

    + Ability to excel with new, complex, and evolving tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    + Ability to make critical decisions based on sound analysis and past experiences while understanding risks, opportunities, and managing the broader implications of those decisions.

    + Possess excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, capable of developing and delivering a message appropriately for a given audience including experience presenting recommendations to senior management.

    + Strong capability to succinctly summarize complex problems and deliver clear solutions.

    + Excellent organization and methods of tracking tasksAbility to influence teams and stakeholders without direct authority.Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills.

    What you’ll need:

    + Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline or equivalent 8 year work experience required. Relevant Graduate degree/Certifications, a plus.

    + At least 7 years of progressive business management, consulting, or strategic research and planning.

    + Proven experience managing multiple, complex and time-sensitive cross-functional projects simultaneously with high quality results.
