Our client, A Fortune 50 financial corporation, is seeking a SAS Administrator to join their team.
Title: Jr. SAS Administrator
Contract term: 6 month + extension
No C2C, Contract on W2
Must haves: SAS foundation (Security requests, resolving tickets, routine updates)
Key Responsibilities
+ Process security access requests and manage user permissions.
+ Respond to and resolve user tickets related to SAS platform issues.
+ Perform short changes and routine updates in SAS environments.
+ Monitor system logs and escalate issues as needed.
+ Assist with license renewals and basic patching tasks.
+ Collaborate with senior admins and IT teams for issue resolution.
+ Document procedures and contribute to knowledge base updates.
Required Skills
+ Basic understanding of SAS platform administration (SAS 9.x or Viya).
+ Familiarity with UNIX/Linux command line and file systems.
+ Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
+ Good communication and ticket-handling skills.
+ Ability to follow documented procedures and escalate appropriately.
Preferred Skills
+ Exposure to SAS Grid, VA, or Viya environments.
+ Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
+ Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, etc.).
