Our client, a telecommunications firm, is seeking a Geospatial Engineer to join their team. As a Geospatial Engineer you will be part of the OSP Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience by planning, designing, and documenting the physical infrastructure for networks, including fiber optic and copper cables, inside and outside of buildings. This role ensures reliable connectivity by creating detailed construction plans that meet industry standards and client requirements. This position requires strong GIS and technical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to ensure that tasks are completed on time, accurately, and in alignment with both project goals and internal processes. This is a 100% remotely based direct hire role. Candidates will be required to have non-visa work status.
**Job Title:** Geospatial Engineer
**Pay:** $66K-79K/yr. plus OT, benefits
Key Responsibilities
• Task milestone adherence rate (percentage of tasks completed by the original milestone date)
• Average task cycle time
• Assigned tasks executed with minimal or no rework after internal QAQC.
• Zero internal rework for client projects after first QAQC review.
• Utilization rate
• Error-free delivery rate over time
Requirements
• Experience: (2) years of experience in OSP design, planning, environmental assessments, and infrastructure development.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for spatial data collection, analysis, and interpretation. Proficiency in telecom engineering and GIS technical skills.
• Problem-Solving & Creativity: Ability to solve problems and demonstrate creativity in design solutions. ● Quality Focus: Attention to detail in reviewing deliverables and ensuring data integrity.
