• Field Service Engineer - Southern or Central

    Our client, a global leader in CMMs is seeking a **Field Service Engineer** to join the team supporting their clients in install, repair and calibration of CMMs. Looking for candidates that live in the Cincinnati, Dayton or Columbus, OH areas. Contract-to-perm opportunity.

     

    What’s the Job?

     

    + 100% travel position performing installation and machine maintenance, which includes assembly, disassembly, leveling, diagnosis, repair,certifications, and re-calibration of CMM machines at customer sites in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan

    + You will be the face of the company for the customers and the one to build rapport. You will provide the highest customer satisfaction while representing the company in a professional manner

    What’s Needed

    + To be considered, must have field service experience with heavy travel

    + Looking for candidates that live in the Cincinnati, Dayton or Columbus, OH areas

    + Must have full availability to travel Mon-Fri week after week (out on Mondays, back home Fridays. So basically, you’ll only be home on weekends.

    + Need to have a reliable vehicle to use until a company van is available

    + Should have mechanical and electrical experience

    + Ability to read blueprints and schematics

    + Ability to train in Rhode Island for 2 weeks

    + Must be a US Citizen (to visit federal facilities under ITAR regulations) with clean driving record.

    + Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
