Job Description

Primary Location:

Gillette, Wyoming

Warehouse Manager: Directs warehousing activities for Sales Center by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisor(s).

+ Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of product and materials (includes outdated , damaged, and pilfered inventory) and keeping warehouse inventory current and a t appropriate levels.

+ Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment. Prepares work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment.

+ Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control, and purchasing.

+ Directs salvage of damaged or used material.

+ Participates in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.

+ Takes a leading role in ordering product to maintain an adequate inventory level for the business needs.

+ Collaborates with Sales Center leadership regarding upcoming promotional events to ensure adequate inventory is availabl e.

+ C ounts and verifies inventory as required by company policy.

+ Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
