    Basic Job Functions:

    Nucor Steel Arkansas is seeking applicants for the position of NCC Shift Supervisor. The role of the Shift Supervisor includes, but not limited to, a proven leader who communicates and enforces Nucors safety policies and procedures along with supporting the goals of the division/department. This person will be required to lead coach and develop our teammates in all aspects of the production operation. They are also responsible for their personal growth and development while driving continual improvement in safety, quality, cost, productivity and profitability. They must also be able to think strategically and make sure that we maximize the availability and efficiency of the department.

    Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US (Nucor Steel Arkansas will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future).

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Ability to work rotating shifts

    + One or more years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

    + Three or more years of experience in coil coating, or steelmaking

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Three or more years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

    + Slitter experience

    + Experience in a quality role

    + Logistical knowledge
