Amazon Business' (AB) vision is to serve business customers of all sizes – from single proprietors to the largest enterprises – as their primary supplier for the products they want, in the form/factor they want (from singles to pallets), available with fast and consolidated delivery within business hours, to any location/s, along with the services they require. We are hiring a Category Leader to drive strategic direction and growth of the 3P business.
The Amazon Business 3P (AB3P) Category Leader will own key inputs for the fast-growing 3P business and set long-term strategy across pricing, selection, marketing, and complex deal negotiations. This senior manager will engage leaders across Amazon Business and more broadly across Stores to drive the global AB3P business strategy and deliver key growth initiatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong capabilities in strategic thinking and execution at global scale; building and developing high-performing teams; data-driven decision making and financial acumen; communication and stakeholder management; process improvement and operational excellence; and innovation and scalable solution development.
Key job responsibilities
• Identify business opportunities through deep understanding of both customer and seller needs and insights
• Drive cross-functional initiatives with Amazon Business and Stores teams to optimize the business and seller experience
• Develop and lead high performing cross-functional team
• Define key goals and metrics to drive key business inputs globally
• Drive operational excellence
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
10+ years of operational and/or retail management experience
7+ years of people management experience
Proven track record of P&L ownership and delivering strong financial results
Experience owning pricing, selection, and/or marketing strategies
Experience defining program requirement and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced degree
Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence to drive productivity

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $222,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
