As the In-Home Behavior Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:
+ Serving individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities through a 100% state funded Family Support Services grant program
+ Providing in home behavioral service, including testing, evaluation, consultation, intervention, and development of behavioral management plans and goals as required by the needs of the individual being served
+ Providing education and training to family members regarding behavioral strategies
+ This position was designed to be of service not only to individuals in need who are living at home, but also to serve as a support for their family members
In-Home Behavior Specialist Minimum Salary: $48.86/hour *additional rates include $15.91/hour training and $25/hour drive-time*
In-Home Behavior Specialist Maximum Salary: $48.86/hour *additional rates include $15.91/hour training and $25/hour drive-time*
In-Home Behavior Specialist Schedule: Flexible scheduling; approximately 5 hours per week
Qualifications:
+ Valid NYS Driver’s License and personal transportation
+ Master’s Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or Social Work
+ A minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities
