Job Title: Environmental Professional Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Professional to perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in accordance with ASTM E-1527-21. This role involves conducting site reconnaissance, regulatory research, and preparing technical reports for commercial and residential properties.

Responsibilities

+ Perform and prepare Phase I ESAs in accordance with ASTM E-1527-21.

+ Conduct records review, site reconnaissance, and identify Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs), Business Environmental Risks (BERs), and non-scope items.

+ Conduct interviews and investigate regulatory listings.

+ Evaluate environmental compliance.

+ Manage research, field activities, and report preparation.

+ Develop conclusions and recommendations.

+ Interpret data and prepare technical reports.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.

+ 5+ years of experience performing Phase I ESAs.

+ Must meet the definition of an Environmental Professional per 40 CFR §312.10(b).

+ Experience with equity purchase and lender Phase I ESAs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Proficiency in report writing, environmental compliance, and regulatory compliance.

+ Experience in environmental remediation, environmental investigations, site inspection, and environmental assessments.

Work Environment

The role involves working 85% of the time in the office and 15% in the field for site visits. The company is a leading provider of comprehensive Due Diligence Services, including Environmental, Engineering, and Seismic consulting services, with operations across the United States, US territories, the Caribbean, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorestown, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.87/hr.
