Junior Drywall Estimator
Job Description
The Junior Drywall Estimator will assist in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial drywall and related projects. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn the trade and develop strong estimating skills.
Responsibilities
+ Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
+ Assist higher level estimators with quantity takeoffs for drywall, framing, ceilings, and related scopes.
+ Prepare bid packages, proposals, and maintain organized records of bids, budgets, and revisions.
+ Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing.
+ Support project handoffs from estimating to operations.
+ Stay up to date with industry standards, products, and construction methods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 0–2 years of construction or estimating experience (internship or field experience a plus).
+ Degree or coursework in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
+ Experience in project management, purchasing, budgeting, and general contracting.
+ Familiarity with quoting processes.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
