Job Title: PhlebotomistJob Description
This role involves traditional phlebotomy duties with a significant focus on processing, centrifuging, and sample splitting. You will be responsible for entering and managing data using the LabCorp Touch system while maintaining high standards of customer service. The position requires preparing and entering your own orders and primarily focuses on blood draws, occupying about 70% of your time.
Responsibilities
+ Perform blood draws and venipuncture procedures.
+ Process and centrifuge blood samples.
+ Enter and manage data using LabCorp Touch system.
+ Provide excellent customer service.
+ Split and process samples as needed.
+ Participate in a week-long training program to learn entering and processing procedures.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
+ Phlebotomy certification.
+ Experience with data entry and medical records.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Familiarity with blood collection and venipuncture techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in a high-volume site is preferred.
+ Hospital and geriatric patient experience is beneficial.
Work Environment
The position is set in a laboratory and medical environment, operating as a float position across multiple locations in the Orange County area, including Irvine, Huntington Beach, Newport, and Fullerton. Shifts are available between 6 AM and 6 PM. Training locations include Wildomar, Tustin, and Los Angeles, with accommodations available if needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $24.00/hr.
