    Job Title: DevOps Engineer

    Job Description

    As a DevOps Engineer based at our client's site in Tucson, AZ, you will have the opportunity to architect and implement Cloud environments and associated pipelines.

    Responsibilities

    + Architect and implement Cloud environments and associated pipelines.

    + Support and enhance DevOps tools and pipeline environments such as Jira, SharePoint, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Artifactory.

    + Work with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.

    + Design and deliver scalable and automated strategies using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible and Terraform.

    + Support cloud network resources including VPC, URL proxies, private link, DNS, ACLs, Security groups, and routing tables.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical fields.

    + Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance.

    + 2+ years of hands-on experience with architecting solutions in AWS Cloud environments.

    + Experience in key AWS services such as EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, CloudWatch, and S3.

    + Proficiency in Linux system administration.

    + Background in scripting and/or coding such as Java, Python, Terraform, and/or Bash.

    + CompTIA Security+ certification (or in pursuit of).

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical field.

    + Experience with on-premises to cloud migrations or IT transformations.

    + Experience in database administration, including MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL.

    + Experience in AWS ElastiCache.

    + Familiarity with Information Security frameworks/standards such as CIS, NIST, RFC2196.

    + AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.

    + Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills.

    Work Environment

    The position is based onsite in Tucson, AZ, with a focus on utilizing technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker. The role requires proficiency in Linux system administration and scripting/coding in languages such as Java, Python, and Bash. The work environment includes supporting cloud network resources and ensuring security compliance, with opportunities for professional development in cloud and DevOps technologies.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Tucson, Arizona.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
