Amada Set-Up / Operator

Job Description/Key Elements:

+ Strong communication skills and Team Player Attitude.

+ Safe set-up and operation of Amada CNC Turret Punch Press.

+ Safe operation of Togu tool grinder.

+ Maintenance and organization of all tooling.

+ Minor machine preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

+ Downloading of programs from the programming network.

+ Making adjustments to programs to meet blueprint requirements.

+ Making adjustments to programs to enhance machine productivity.

+ Tool sharpening and assembly.

+ Tooling / machine set-up.

+ Working independently reading and understanding shop work orders.

+ Working independently reading and understanding shop blueprints.

+ Operation of the machine and inspection of completed parts.

+ Light machine preventive maintenance.

+ Utilize shop floor manager to enter production data into the company ERP system accurately and timely.

+ Ensure a clean and organized work environment.

+ Practice and promote shop safety.

**Reports to:** Fabrication Supervisor

Required Experience

+ High school education or GED.

+ Basis computer knowledge.

+ Strong ability to read and understand blue prints.

+ Use of precision measuring tools to measure tolerances to .0005.

+ Use of tape measure.

**Pay Details:** $18.50 per hour
