    Job Title: Test Analysis Engineer

    Job Description

    This role involves supporting testing for NASA rocket engines. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in rocket engine testing, both hardware and software, with a focus on test plans and defining test requirements. This opportunity is ideal for someone eager to own multiple parts of a project and contribute to a growing engineering services and testing company.

    Responsibilities

    + Support testing for NASA rocket engines.

    + Define test requirements and develop test plans.

    + Conduct hardware and software testing and validation.

    + Perform model analysis and structural analysis using tools like Nastran.

    + Update and maintain current software with provided training.

    + Engage in mechanical system testing and have exposure to fluid dynamics and propulsion.

    + Work cross-functionally throughout hardware and software test cycles.

    + Contribute to full life-cycle testing from a small to medium-sized company perspective.

    Qualifications

    + 5+ years of experience with rocket engine testing on hardware and software.

    + Experience with test plans, test methods, and test article documentation.

    + Basic knowledge and ability with C and Unix/Linux systems.

    + Model analysis experience.

    + Software and hardware test experience.

    + Experience with hardware design and test equipment.

    + Familiarity with Unix/Linux distributions like Fedora and RedHat.

    + Mechanical system experience and fluid dynamics/propulsion knowledge are preferred.

    + Programming, networking, and development experience.

    + Client-facing and cross-functional collaboration skills.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $62.50/hr.
