Job Title: Project Architect
Job Description
Actalent is seeking to hire a Project Architect with extensive experience in industrial and steel projects, including fabrication, solid waste, heavy industrial, machinery, and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate must have successfully managed at least 3-5 industrial projects valued between $50-$200 million.
Responsibilities
+ Plan, coordinate, and administer major projects through all phases of development.
+ Direct and manage assigned staff, establish budgets and schedules, and monitor adherence to contract terms.
+ Serve as the primary contact for clients, directing and controlling all project activities.
+ Supervise and manage multiple clients and in-house project managers through all project phases.
+ Utilize collaboration software tools, including Bluebeam and BIM360.
+ Review and assist staff in setting budgets, goals, and preparing work plans.
+ Resolve issues related to staff and consultants.
+ Analyze profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and utilization across projects.
+ Negotiate contracts and fees with clients and consultants.
+ Review AutoCAD and Revit documents to ensure design quality and compliance.
+ Guide and direct project team and consultants on project components.
+ Provide design input related to manufacturing or industrial process integration.
+ Resolve plan check and approval issues with agencies and clients.
+ Ensure materials and systems meet standards and are within budget.
+ Oversee and resolve issues during the construction phase.
+ Write and edit specifications.
+ Manage relationships with clients, team, consultants, and government agencies.
+ Establish productive working relationships with all stakeholders.
+ Mentor team members and provide feedback.
+ Communicate complex project concepts to clients and project team members.
Essential Skills
+ Industrial project experience with Revit, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, and BIM360.
+ Project architect experience on industrial projects valued between $50-$200 million.
+ Proficiency in construction document preparation and construction administration.
+ Strong project management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Architectural degree from an NAAB accredited university is required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $69.70/hr.
