Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

A large manufacturer in Anderson, IN is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers for both morning and night shifts. This role involves training across the entire distribution center, including picking, loading, and receiving operations. The position is an open-ended contract with potential for permanent employment for outstanding performers.

Responsibilities

+ Accurately pick products from designated locations according to order specifications.

+ Safely operate an electric pallet jack to transport products within the warehouse.

+ Use scanning equipment to ensure correct items are picked and track inventory.

+ Double-check picked items against order lists for accuracy.

+ Securely and neatly place picked items onto pallets.

+ Pull pallets off the conveyor and scan using the provided equipment.

+ Use the SAP system to determine the appropriate door for each pallet.

+ Transport pallets to designated doors using a sit-down forklift.

+ Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to during the loading process.

+ Identify the correct door for incoming shipments using the SAP system.

+ Unload shipments from trucks and other delivery vehicles.

+ Prepare the area for the next order by organizing and labeling items correctly.

+ Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.

+ Follow all safety guidelines and procedures during the receiving process.

Essential Skills

+ Willingness to operate an electric pallet jack.

+ Willingness to learn and operate a sit-down forklift.

+ Ability to work in cold temperatures.

+ Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with RF scanners.

+ Previous picking experience in a warehouse environment.

+ Experience operating an electric pallet jack.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
