    Job Title: Material Handler

    Job Description

    The material handler will work across various departments within the warehouse, adapting to different tasks and environments as needed. This role requires flexibility, as candidates may not always operate forklifts. Responsibilities include shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties.

    Responsibilities

    + Pick and pack items according to a pick sheet.

    + Utilize an RF scanner for inventory management.

    + Build pallets and break down boxes for shipping.

    + Operate pallet jacks throughout the warehouse.

    + Drive reach trucks, stand-ups, sit-downs, and tuggers.

    + Load and unload trucks using lifts or by hand/pallet jacks.

    + Use ERP systems, specifically Epicor, for shipping and receiving tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Flexibility to work in different departments daily.

    + Experience in a warehouse environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 1+ year of forklift experience is preferred.

    + Ability to cross-train with production tasks.

    + Competency in computer use.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is fast-paced yet clean and organized. Shifts available are 1st shift from 5am to 3pm, 2nd shift from 3pm to 1am, and weekends from 6am to 6pm.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk River, Minnesota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $25.50/hr.
