    Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

    Job Description

    As a Quality Control Inspector, you will perform inspections of parts using well-defined criteria with standard visual, physical, mechanical, and/or electrical measurements. Your role will include performing visual inspections on large lot sizes under a microscope, documenting inspection and test results accurately, maintaining controlled documentation files, and performing data entry into computers. You will be responsible for incoming, in-process, and final inspections.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct inspections of parts according to established criteria.

    + Perform visual inspections using microscopes for large lot sizes.

    + Document inspection and testing results accurately.

    + Maintain controlled documentation files and test records promptly.

    + Conduct data entry related to inspection results.

    + Perform inspections during different stages: incoming, in-process, and final.

    Essential Skills

    + 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + Ability to use inspection gages and microscopes.

    + Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and inspection procedures.

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

    + Knowledge in ISO and GMP standards.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Medical device inspection experience is a plus.

    + Willingness to learn and train on microscope use.

    + Experience with assembly and document control.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is not a cleanroom, and no PPE is required. The quality department consists of 10-12 employees, and contractors have their own bench. This area is shared with the warehouse team, fostering constant interaction.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danvers, Massachusetts.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
