Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery that turns aluminum into gutters. You will also be cross-trained in operating a box machine that creates 10ft boxes. This is a second shift position.

Responsibilities

+ Operate roll-forming and other gutter production machinery safely and efficiently.

+ Set up machines according to specifications and perform routine maintenance.

+ Monitor production output to ensure quality standards are met.

+ Load raw materials and unload finished products.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.

+ Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.

+ Assist with inventory and material handling as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in machine operation.

+ Ability to work the First shift 6am - 4:30pm during the week.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Knowledge of operating roll-forming machines.

+ Understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

Join a small manufacturing team in a non-climate controlled environment with 15-20 employees. This role involves working closely within a collaborative team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
