    Job Title: Controls Installer

    Job Description

    The HVAC Controls Electronic Installer is responsible for the installation and checkout of electric and electronic components for solutions and service installed jobs and service agreements associated with building control systems and energy management systems. This role involves installing and mounting conduit and wiring, cable, electric/electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform installation and mounting of conduit and wiring for building control systems.

    + Install electric/electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components.

    + Conduct interlock wiring and wiring check out.

    + Assist with systems start-up and tasks associated with panel fabrication.

    + Provide input and assist with the preparation of as-built drawings.

    + Train and assign work to other electronic installers, including subcontracted installers.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in building automation and controls.

    + Proficiency in low voltage wiring and building automation installation.

    + Familiarity with VAV, VRF, electrical systems.

    + Ability to perform point-to-point and control panel wiring.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Minimum of 4 years of experience in low voltage installation or controls installation.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sterling, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
