Job Title: Diesel Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to perform essential shop mechanic functions on a fleet of heavy-duty diesel trucks. This role involves hands-on repair work on various equipment, including hydraulics, electrical systems, compressors, and pumps, as well as stick welding and fabricating parts.
Responsibilities
+ Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel trucks.
+ Conduct shop repairs on equipment, including hydraulics, electrical systems, compressors, and pumps.
+ Execute stick welding and fabrication of parts.
+ Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to diesel engines and fleet vehicles.
+ Carry out preventive maintenance procedures to ensure vehicle and equipment reliability.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in diesel troubleshooting and repair.
+ Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical operations.
+ Experience in preventive maintenance and stick welding.
+ Ability to diagnose issues with diesel engines and fleet vehicles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience working with engines, pumps, and electrical systems.
+ Comprehensive understanding of diesel mechanics and maintenance.

Work Environment
Work primarily in a truck yard located in Orange, CA, with both outdoor and shop settings. The environment is typically hot and sunny, with some shaded areas available.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orange, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $38.00/hr.
