    Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    Join a growing Facility Maintenance team expanding from two to four members. We are seeking a professional in facility maintenance to undertake crucial tasks and ensure smooth operations across our facilities.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventative maintenance on various compressors, HVAC systems running over 1,000 watts, and chillers.

    + Conduct maintenance on machinery across three interconnected buildings, including a cafeteria located in the middle building.

    + Document work orders using an ERP system.

    + Change engines, ducts, valves, and bearings.

    + Adhere to lock out and tag out procedures and wear personal protective equipment at all times.

    + Allocate 75% of time to task completion such as preventative maintenance or repairs, and 25% to documentation.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient in HVAC systems, facilities maintenance, compressor systems, cooling towers, and electrical systems.

    + Experience in plumbing and boiler maintenance.

    + Ability to use sophisticated test and measurement equipment associated with specific disciplines.

    + Capable of reading and understanding complex technical documentation.

    + Proficient in using PCs and advanced software for documentation.

    + Fluency in English for effective communication.

    + Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements (GMP and ISO).

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with compressors, chillers, and HVAC systems.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a GMP and cleanroom environment with climate control. The company provides all necessary personal protective equipment. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, with on-call responsibilities.

    This is a Contract position based out of MIAMI LAKES, Florida.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
