Job Title: Cleanroom Technician
Job Description
As a Cleanroom Technician, you will be responsible for interpreting and following Manufacturing and Inspection Procedures (MIPs) and work orders. You will prepare mold or tool surfaces with release film, wax, and other products, utilizing pre-preg lamination techniques. This role involves preparing products for vacuum bagging, applying, storing, and disposing of composite materials according to OSHA regulations. A focus on zero defects and a 'right-the-first-time' approach is essential. You will inspect finished products for specification conformance, complete necessary documentation, and ensure laminate surfaces are free from defects. Compliance with safety directives and the ability to sand/trim composite materials to precise dimensions is required.
Responsibilities
+ Read, interpret, and follow Manufacturing and Inspection Procedures (MIPs) and work orders.
+ Prepare mold or tool surfaces with appropriate release products.
+ Utilize pre-preg lamination techniques and lay up products with varying tolerances.
+ Prepare products for vacuum bagging and handle composite materials per OSHA regulations.
+ Exhibit a focus on zero defects and 'right-the-first-time' quality.
+ Inspect finished products for conformance to specifications.
+ Complete all required documentation accurately.
+ Inspect and correct laminate surfaces for defects and non-conformance.
+ Comply with established safety directives.
+ Sand and trim composite materials to proper dimensions.
+ Perform basic math for calculating, weighing, mixing, and catalyzing resin.
+ Lift up to 50 lbs as required.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in inspection, hand tools, and assembly.
+ Knowledge of packaging and cleanroom procedures.
+ Basic math skills for resin calculation and mixing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in manufacturing environments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, South Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
