Job Title: Avionics Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics Technician with extensive experience in Garmin avionics systems to join our aviation maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in aircraft electronics, meticulous attention to detail, and a proven track record of troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining complex avionics systems in accordance with FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

+ Install, inspect, test, and repair Garmin avionics systems including G1000, GTN, GFC, and other integrated flight decks on general aviation aircraft.

+ Diagnose and resolve electrical and avionics issues using advanced diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.

+ Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft communication, navigation, and flight control systems.

+ Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate installations and repairs.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of avionics experience.

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and installing avionics equipment.

+ Extensive experience with Garmin avionics systems.

+ Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with general aviation platforms such as Cessna and Pipers is strongly preferred, but other platforms will be considered if Garmin experience is present.

Work is conducted in a hangar environment during the day shift. The role involves hands-on work with advanced diagnostic tools and sophisticated avionics systems.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Selma, Alabama

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
