    Job Title: Crew Chief

    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Crew Chief to lead our maintenance team in a Part 145 repair station environment. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of heavy maintenance on Embraer Praetor, Phenom, and similar aircraft. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality and safety.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform intermediate/heavy maintenance tasks without supervision.

    + Execute airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs and modifications to meet company and FAA requirements.

    + Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems.

    + Perform turbine engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and engine run-ups.

    + Conduct airframe system, component changes, and systems checkout.

    + Install service bulletins and kits on airframes and engines.

    + Comprehend and complete all Aircraft Manufacturer Scheduled Maintenance items.

    + Remove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install replacement parts; test aircraft systems.

    + Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.

    + Sign for work accomplished, including troubleshooting deferred maintenance items and ensure proper recording of all maintenance tasks.

    + Build customer invoices using labor calculations, purchase orders, and parts mark-up calculations.

    + Use equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies.

    + Maintain a constant watch for safety and ensure work performed adheres to the highest quality standards.

    + Monitor to reduce excessive labor costs and duplications.

    + Ensure proper and adequate equipment is used, acceptable parts or components are installed, and approved hardware or supplies are utilized.

    Essential Skills

    + Aircraft maintenance expertise.

    + A&P Mechanic certification.

    + Experience with Embraer Praetor and Phenom aircraft.

    + A&P License strongly preferred.

    + 5+ years of experience on Embraer Corporate Jets, including Praetor 600, Phenom 450, and Phenom 500.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + A&P License is preferred.

    + 5+ years of maintenance experience on Embraer Corporate Jets.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
