Description
The CMM Operator works within the Quality department to support all activities surrounding the launch and sustainment of automotive car parts. The CMM Operator must be able to manage all work surrounding the use of CMM equipment, by programming and operating the equipment to ensure all parts meet customers’ expectations

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Program and operate coordinate measurement machine for part and gage qualification per customer requirements (PC-DMIS; Hexagon)
Generate reports for coordinate measurement machine per customer and/or PPAP requirements
Maintain history for coordinate measurement machine results per customer and/or company requirements
Manage Plex gage control module for tracking calibration/R&R frequencies per customer/company requirements. This includes the setting up of new gauges and management of systems thereafter
Verification of new gauges (certification) upon receipt
Manage calibration for all gauges serviced by an external source. This includes scheduling and submitting payment requisition in Plex
Manage gage control per AIAG, customer and/or company requirements
Submitting pre-requisition in Plex for replacement gauges and items needed for gate maintenance/repair
Maintain NIST traceability on all gages used for quality purposes at E&E Manufacturing of Tennessee, LLC
Maintain housekeeping of Quality department office area and Quality Lab
Assist employees with the use of lab equipment if needed
Internal audits of the gage control system, including floor audits
Layered process audits when required (weekly; monthly)

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
