Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Allendale, New Jersey. In this role, you will oversee key financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance in reporting. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Oversee general ledger entries and ensure all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.

• Coordinate and support financial statement audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.

• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Prepare and review journal entries for completeness and compliance with accounting standards.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial reporting and compliance.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies in all accounting activities.

• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis to support decision-making. Requirements • Proven experience in accounting management or a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and general ledger management.

• Familiarity with financial audits and the ability to manage audit requirements effectively.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.

• Solid understanding of journal entries and accounting principles.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
