    Overview:

    Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS), a non-profit organization, was founded in 1943 and has grown to be the largest provider of licensed outpatient community mental health services and one of the largest human service agencies in Westchester County. We provide state-of-the-art programs and services and compassionate care to more than 20,000 people of all ages and backgrounds each year.

     

    We are currently seeking a full-time Social Work Clinician to join our school-based mental health satellite clinic located in the Eastchester Middle/High School. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing vital mental health services directly within a school setting. We offer e xcellent continued professional training and clinical supervision provided through the WJCS Educational Institute. The salary range is for this full-time, 12 months per year position is $65,000-$75,000.

    Responsibilities:

    As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

    + Providing direct clinical services to children and families within the school environment.

    + Maintaining accurate case records, completing insurance forms, and handling required statistical and administrative data, including monthly reports and surveys.

    + Building and nurturing collaborative relationships with families, school staff, and other community and county service providers.

    + Performing additional duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

    + LMSW or LCSW valid in the State of New York.

    + Bilingual Spanish-English proficiency preferred.

    + Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective and collaborative partnerships with school and community partners.

    + Able to work independently with confidence and sound professional judgment.
