    Overview

     

    We’re seeking a Proposal Manager to lead the development and coordination of high-quality proposal submissions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in proposal management, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Manage the end-to-end proposal process for RFPs, RFQs, and bids from initial review to final submission.

    + Review and interpret RFP/RFQ requirements, ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines.

    + Develop and maintain proposal schedules, coordinating with stakeholders to meet deadlines and submission requirements.

    + Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and subcontractors to gather technical, pricing, and project data.

    + Create and format proposal content using company templates (primarily in Canva, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft 365).

    + Write and edit clear, concise, and persuasive proposal narratives tailored to client needs.

    + Maintain and update a library of past proposals, project descriptions, and key team resumes.

    + Support the development of presentations and marketing materials for business development efforts.

    + Track active and upcoming opportunities using internal CRM or SharePoint tools.

    + Ensure brand consistency and accuracy across all proposal deliverables.

    Requirements

    Qualifications & Requirements

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

    + 3–5 years of experience in proposal coordination or management, preferably within construction, engineering, or government contracting.

    + Proven success managing multiple proposals simultaneously under strict deadlines.

    + Strong understanding of RFP/RFQ processes, government procurement regulations, and bid compliance.

    + Excellent writing, editing, and formatting skills with keen attention to detail.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, Canva, and document management systems.

    + Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing input from multiple stakeholders.

    + Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks.

    + Familiarity with HUD, FEMA, or CDBG-funded projects is highly desirable.

     

    Preferred Skills

     

    + Knowledge of construction terminology and bid documentation.

    + Experience using CRM tools or proposal tracking software.

    + Ability to create visually engaging proposal layouts and presentations.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable leading meetings and proposal reviews.
