Overview
Investigate, analyze and report on trends, forecasts, and data required to support NPI, Process Innovation and Strategy teams. System administrator and SME for Project Portfolio management (PPM) software including time tracking, global resource optimization, integrated NPI governance models, ongoing system maintenance, customized reporting, accountability for user compliance, and training of Hussmann team. Support project teams by coordinating activities, generating and maintaining project reports, tracking deliverables.
Responsibilities
PPM System Administration
+ Serve as the point of contact for administration of the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system.
+ Maintain user accounts, permissions, roles, and access rights within the tool.
+ Configure and update project templates, workflows, and reporting dashboards.
+ Ensure data integrity and consistency across the system by conducting routine audits.
+ Provide basic troubleshooting and first-line support for end users.
+ Train new users and create reference materials to support adoption and best practices.
+ Collaborate with IT and vendor support teams to resolve system issues or enhancements.
Reporting & Data Tracking
+ Generate recurring project status reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
+ Monitor and update project trackers, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
+ Identify variances and escalate issues to project leadership.
+ Consolidate inputs from cross-functional teams for management reporting.
Project Coordination
+ Assist project managers in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project activities.
+ Track project deliverables, milestones, and timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
+ Organize and maintain project documentation, meeting notes, and action items.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
+ A minimum of 1-2 years of applicable experience required
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
+ Familiarity with project management or PPM software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Planview, Clarity, Monday.com, or similar).
+ Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Eagerness to learn and grow within a project management environment.
Preferred:
+ Experience with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
+ Basic knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
+ Previous exposure to system administration or user support roles.
+ Internship or academic experience related to project management or information systems.
