### Job Duties
Job Summary:
Under direction of the Clinical Nurse Supervisor, assures that all clinical affairs and resident cares are performed appropriately and are compliant with the State and Federal rules and regulations.
Responsible for promoting the community, increasing occupancy through strategic marketing and outreach efforts, and managing the admissions process for new residents. This role serves as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and their families, guiding them through the decision-making and move-in process with compassion and professionalism.
RN Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all resident issues are addressed with assessment and interventions.
• Review all nursing communications and follow up on all identified problem areas.
• Ensure that all treatments are being performed.
• Appropriate documentation of all changes of conditions, problem areas, events, vital signs, client declines, and labs.
• Make sure the RN Clinical Nurse Supervisor is aware of any high risk client/family issues.
• Review and sign-off on PRN meds.
• Review MD orders and vital signs, weights, and blood sugars and update the MD.
• Review missed medications and ensure medication management is completed on time.
• Diabetic foot care for all residents.
• Complete all Board of Nursing education requirements.
• Maintain compliance with State of MN Assisted Living rules and regulations, Fair Housing rules and regulations, and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Maintain strong and healthy relationships with families, residents and staff.
• Inspire confidence in the families that have placed their trust in you to care for their loved ones.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Assist with clinical supervision and competency observation of unlicensed staff.
• Review incident reports and develop plans of action.
Admission Coordinator Responsibilities:
Marketing & Outreach
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to maintain high occupancy and positive community presence.
• Plan and host community events, tours, and open houses to attract prospective residents and referral sources.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, senior centers, and other referral partners.
• Track referral source data.
• Represent the community at health fairs, expos, and community events.
Admissions & Sales
• Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective residents and families
• Conduct tours of the facility, highlighting features, care options, and amenities tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records of all prospects in CRM.
• Coordinate and complete all necessary paperwork for resident admissions, including prospective resident assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with care staff and leadership to ensure smooth transitions and successful move-ins.
Customer Service & Follow-Up
• Provide compassionate, timely communication to families throughout the inquiry and move-in process
• Follow up on all leads and maintain a consistent communication strategy to nurture prospects
• Support family members in understanding the financial, medical, and care aspects of the move.
### Minimum Education Required
Qualifications:
• Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Registered Nursing from an accredited college.
• Currently licensed by the State of MN as a registered nurse.
• Local travel for outreach and events required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• On-call responsibility every other week.
### Minimum Experience Required
Experience:
• Minimum 1-2 years of sales, admissions, or marketing experience in senior living, healthcare, or a similar industry.
• Minimum 1-2 years of RN Experience working in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Long-Term Care settings.
• Knowledge of state regulations regarding resident admissions.
• Background in community engagement and event planning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Compassion for and understanding of the aging population and their families.
