    The Management Department within the Massry School of Business, University at Albany if looking for an adjunct to teach the following courses for the Spring 2026 semester:

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Managerial Leadership and Decision Making (BMGT 450): This course is reserved for advanced undergraduate business school students who are concentrating in Management. The course is intended to provide students with fundamentals in leadership theory and practice, in an effort to develop them as future business leaders. Topics addressed in the course can be, but are not limited to: leadership styles and skills, leading teams, high-impact decision making, managing personnel and relationships, and strategic leadership. The course is scheduled to meet Tues/Thurs from 1:30pm - 2:50pm.

     

    Research Project in Management (BMGT 698): Course on the development and execution of personal research projects, open only to 3rd year evening MBA students. Instructors will provide coaching on research design, analysis, and project execution, most often culminating with a research presentation fair held in the Massry building. The class is 100% online, synchronous.

    Job Requirements:

    Minimum Qualifications - Managerial Leadership and Decision Making (BMGT 450):

    + Master's degree in Management, Organizational Leadership, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

    + Demonstrated knowledge of leadership theory, team dynamics, and decision-making frameworks.

    + Experience teaching or training in leadership development, strategic management, or organizational behavior.

    + Ability to effectively engage undergraduate students in interactive, discussion-based learning.

    + Applicants must demonstrate an ability to develop inclusive and equitable relationships within our diverse campus community

    + Applicants must demonstrate an ability to support diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and belonging relative to their role

    Minimum Qualifications - Research Project in Management (BMGT 698):

    + Ph.D. or DBA in Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

    + Demonstrated expertise in research design, quantitative and/or qualitative analysis, and project execution within business disciplines.

    + Familiarity with online synchronous teaching platforms.

    + Strong communication and coaching skills to guide students through individualized research projects.
