Who we’re looking for
Toyota Logistics Services (TLS) department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Business Controls & Development Analyst.
This role is essential in supporting TLS leadership through strategic reporting, operational coordination, and talent development initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to driving team success through data-driven insights and efficient processes.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Planning and Strategy, this team member will be responsible for managing key business controls—including KPI reporting and billing—while also maintaining and enhancing TLS’s intern and logistics trainee programs. Additionally, the role will support the development and execution of team member development curriculum and engagement initiatives.
This position is based in Plano, TX. Toyota encourages all employees to live within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned work location.
What you’ll be doing
--Strategic Reporting & Business Support
+ Prepare and distribute monthly KPI reports to executive leadership, highlighting performance trends and actionable insights
+ Support roll-up reporting across TLS and related functions, ensuring accuracy and alignment.
+ Assist with business governance processes, including payment approval tracking and compliance documentation
+ Support other items that may arise in support of department/organizational activities as directed by management
--Talent Program Management
+ Manage the intern and trainee program for TLS, including onboarding, scheduling, engagement, and performance tracking
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for program participants and coordinate with managers to ensure a meaningful experience
--Team Development & Enablement
+ Create, maintain, and evolve the team development curriculum, including training plans, learning resources, and development tracking.
+ Support team engagement initiatives such as workshops, feedback sessions, and recognition programs
What you bring
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or similar field preferred or equivalent professional work experience.
+ Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
+ Familiarity with building and maintaining data visualization tools, Power BI preferred.
+ An ability to work within cross-functional teams
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
+ Experience managing talent programs or team development initiatives is a plus
+ Experience designing or facilitating training programs or workshops
Added bonus if you have
+ Experience leveraging technology to help improve or create new processes
+ Working level experience in logistics and/or operations
+ Project management experience
+ Familiarity with employee engagement tools or surveys
+ Ability to connect operational data to business outcomes
+ Ability to write executive-level summaries and reports
