    Job Title: Inventory AnalystJob Description

     

    The main function of an Inventory Analyst is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedules. This role involves reviewing and distributing production work, managing shipment schedules, and compiling reports on inventory levels and costs.

    Responsibilities

    + Examine documents, materials, and products to monitor work processes and assess completeness, accuracy, and conformity to standards and specifications.

    + Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements and material priorities.

    + Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.

    + Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.

    + Pull and allocate parts systematically for shipments to Aftermarket.

    + Follow allocated parts through to shipment and document shipping information.

    + Review and correct ISS/Shipment discrepancies and work closely with others for resolution.

    + Review and analyze past due ISS to determine shipment requirements.

    + Communicate extensively through emails and manage data using Excel spreadsheets.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in logistics, transportation, inventory, supply chain, shipping, and receiving.

    + Strong capabilities in inventory control and management.

    + Recent experience with Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulas.

    + A minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory tracking.

    + Experience working within a team or supporting team functions.

    Work Environment

    Work hours are Monday through Friday, starting by 7 am, with the option to start earlier. The position offers a hybrid work environment with remote work on Monday, Thursday, and Friday, and on-site work on Tuesday and Wednesday.

    This is a Contract position based out of Lafayette, Indiana.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
