    Job Overview

    A leading wireless infrastructure engineering and construction firm is seeking a Wireless Small Cell Technician to support the buildout of small cell sites across the Baltimore, DC, and Northern Virginia markets. This is a 3-4 month contract with potential for full-time conversion based on performance and workload.

    Responsibilities

    + Construct and integrate small cell sites, including mounting and connecting components within shelters.

    + Install and configure antennas, radios, batteries, cooling systems, and alarms.

    + Connect power, fiber, and coaxial cables to designated ports with precision.

    + Support site builds both on the ground and on poles in varying weather conditions.

    + Collaborate with tower crews, electrical teams, and warehouse staff to ensure project completion.

    + Maintain safety protocols and utilize hand and power tools effectively.

    + Contribute to a team goal of completing approximately 2 sites per day.

    Work Location

    + Primary focus in DC and Northern Virginia, with occasional travel to Southeastern Pennsylvania.

    + Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with overtime options available.

    Top Skills Required

    + 2+ years of small cell construction experience, specifically cabinet builds and antenna/radio installation.

    + Experience supporting major carriers or service providers (e.g., AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Crown Castle, DISH, Verizon).

    + Proficiency with low voltage and fiber installation, including testing and troubleshooting (OTDR; no terminations required).

    Preferred Qualifications

    + ODAS construction and integration experience

    + Tower construction background

    + Familiarity with small cell integration processes

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
