Job Description

We’re hiring Low Voltage Technicians to support structured cabling and security system installations across school districts and industrial facilities in Beaufort, Charleston, Raleigh, and Charlotte. This is a great opportunity for dependable techs with experience in Cat5/Cat6 cabling, access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection — or those looking to grow into those skillsets. What You’ll Do

+ Install and terminate Cat5 and Cat6 cabling

+ Install access control systems, intrusion detection, and security cameras

+ Perform cable pulls, mounting, and device installation per spec

+ Maintain accurate asset tracking and documentation

+ Work in active job sites including schools and industrial facilities

+ Collaborate with team leads and senior technicians

+ Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Schedule

+ Monday–Thursday, 3 PM – 2 AM (4x10 hour shifts)

+ Second shift work primarily within school environments

What You Bring

+ Experience with Cat5/Cat6 cable installation

+ Familiarity with access control and CCTV systems

+ Dependability and strong work ethic

+ Willingness to work second shift and travel as needed

+ Ability to take direction and work well with a team

+ Strong communication and troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have

+ Experience with asset management and OSP design

+ Background in electronics or structured cabling

+ Experience in school or industrial environments

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
