Job Description

We’re hiring Technicians (Level 2/3) to support structured cabling, security system, and AV installations across schools, colleges, and commercial buildings in the Savannah, GA area. We’re looking for dependable techs with hands-on experience in fiber and copper cabling, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and AV systems. What You’ll Do

Structured Cabling

+ Install, terminate, and test low-voltage copper and fiber optic cables

+ Route cable through conduit, ceilings, and floors per job specs

+ Read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints

+ Identify color codes for 568A, 568B, 6-strand, 12-strand fiber, 25-pair, and 50-pair

+ Assist in installation of communications hardware

+ Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism

Security Systems

+ Install and maintain access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and alarm systems

+ Mount and connect control panels, sensors, cameras, and wiring

+ Troubleshoot and repair circuits and system components

+ Follow electrical layouts and building plans

+ Provide client training and support as needed

Audio Visual (AV)

+ Install AV systems including displays, projectors, screens, speakers, inputs, and control panels

+ Pull, terminate, and test AV cabling

+ Assemble and test equipment racks

+ Support DSP changes and control code loading

+ Perform red-line changes and maintain accurate documentation

+ Provide client/end-user training on system operation

What You Bring

+ 2–4 years of experience in structured cabling, security systems, or AV installations

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and system drawings

+ Strong troubleshooting and installation skills

+ Reliable transportation and punctuality

+ Strong communication and customer service skills

+ Willingness to work first shift (7 AM – 4 PM) and occasional off-hours based on workload

Nice to Have

+ Experience with S2, VMS, and access control systems

+ BICSI or manufacturer certifications

+ Video conferencing system experience

+ Prior experience leading installation projects

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.
