SUMMARY
EMCOR Hyre Electric Co of Indiana, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic to assist with the repair and maintain diesel and gasoline powered construction equipment and vehicles and assist as a delivery driver to support project jobsites. Good driving record and CDL License REQUIRED (Class B minimum). Applicants with Military experience are encouraged to apply.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following. Other duties will likely be assigned.
+ Repair and maintenance of diesel and gasoline powered equipment and vehicles.
+ Make repairs in a conscious and timely manner.
+ Report to the Shop Manager all problems and potential issues that arise.
+ Prompt and accurate completion of work orders in a legible manner.
+ Regularly check all vehicles and equipment due for maintenance.
+ Comply with all Company operating policies, procedures, OSHA, and safety programs as established.
+ Assist as a delivery driver to support project jobsites.
QUALIFICATIONS

POSTION REQUIREMENTS
+ At least 2 years’ experience working on heavy equipment and vehicles.
+ Must be at least 18 years or older.
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Flexible work schedule
+ Good driving record, ability to pass DOT medical exam.
+ CDL License REQUIRED (Class B minimum)
+ Have an excellent attitude towards safety and firm adherence to safety protocols.

The employee may occasionally lift and/or move fifty (50) pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to travel to remote field locations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee will also frequently work at construction field sites when visiting field locations.
