Manufacturing Engineer - Aerospace Composites

Position Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support aerospace composite production and development programs. This role focuses on achieving zero-defect manufacturing through robust process design, advanced technologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

+ Develop and implement solutions for complex manufacturing challenges

+ Support production integration and resolve supplier-related issues

+ Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances

+ Design tooling and production plans using established engineering methods

+ Contribute to product development activities including quoting, configuration changes, and first article inspections

+ Drive Lean initiatives and process improvements

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners

Job Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

+ Minimum 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience

+ U.S. Person status required (ITAR compliance)

Preferred Skills

+ Experience with aerospace composites or polymers

+ Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset

+ Effective communication and collaboration skills

+ Leadership experience or mentoring background

+ Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles
